‘Granddad’, as Rickey would say, has made a few appearances in the five seasons of Rickey Smiley For Real often offering laughs and sound advice to Rickey and his grandkids. TV One collected a few of scenes in the tribute below.
On Tuesday, we saw Rickey, Ms. Janie and Ms. Pat join granddad Ernest at his hospital bed just to bring him some laughter. We see his granddad light up once Ms. Janie entered the room ready to crack jokes.
