Kyla Pratt is returning to the small screen in Call Me Kat, a new comedy on Fox that’s been ordered to series. The 33-year-old will star as,“a 39-year-old woman who struggles every day against society and her mother Sheila to prove that you CANNOT have everything you want — and still be happy. Which is why she spent the money her parents set aside for her wedding to open a Cat Café in Louisville, KY,” according to Deadline.

Most known for her roles on the cult classics, One On One, The Proud Family, Dr. Doolittle and Love & Basketball, over the last few years, the mother of two has starred in a slew of TV movies. She sat down with DL Hughley last year to talk about the effects motherhood has had on her career and life.
