Well hello again, shirtless Sinqua Walls! Netflix’s new film, Otherhood follows the story of three mothers, Carol (Angela Bassett), Helen (Felicity Huffman) and Gillian (Patricia Arquette), who feel incredibly disconnected from their children now that they’re empty nesters. Insert an impromptu visit to New York to their sons and cue the drama. A description of the show describes it as, “A journey to relate becomes a journey of rediscovery that forces these women to redefine their relationships with their children, friends, spouses and most importantly, themselves.”

Walls, best known for his roles on Power and American Soul, plays Bassett’s on-screen son. He initially rejects the idea of bonding with his mother, but the journey they both encounter eventually brings them closer.
