When he’s not busy filming action-packed movies like the upcoming Gemini Man and Bad Boys 3, Will Smith is investing in tech startups alongside his famous friends, to enhance the quality of life for all people.

His newest business venture? According to Black Enterprise, Step, “is a mobile-based banking service app for teenagers, through his Dreamers fund. Step allows teens to easily send and receive money from their family and friends, get real-time notifications, and they don’t have to deal with the monthly or overdraft fees and no minimum balance that traditional banking customers incur.”

Teaching teens financial literacy? Sign us up! Rapper Nas is also rumored to make up the conglomerate of investors, which include, Jeffrey Katzenberg’s Wndrco, Ronnie Lott, Matt Rutler, Kevin Gould, and Moat founders Noah and Jonah Goodhart. Collectively they make up about $225 million of funding.

Diving in the land of tech isn’t new for Smith or his famous friends. Last year Diddy and Hip Hop’s first billionaire Jay-Z made waves for their reported new app that will show black businesses in any given city.
