Hangin With Mr. Cooper fans got to go back down memory lane this week when Mark Curry surprised Holly Robinson Peete this week while in NYC.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 27 years since the sitcom debut on ABC. The hilarious comedy, which also starred Raven-Symoné, the late Nell Carter and Dawnn Lewis, followed the story of former NBA player Mark Cooper as a teacher and basketball coach in Oakland, living with two female roommates (Peete and Lewis).

And remember the iconic theme song with En Vogue?
