Yikes! Taraji P. Henson found herself in a bit of questionable position on Tuesday after she posted a series of now-deleted videos that show her scrolling through Instagram, searching the hashtags #MuteRKelly and #MuteHarveyWeinstein. What she found was an overwhelmingly amount of posts under the singer’s hashtag and almost none under the Hollywood executives. Watch.

Soon after the Empire star found herself Trending on Twitter and for all the wrong reasons.

The woman behind the infamous Surviving R. Kelly docuseries, Director dream hampton also stepped in, sharing her thoughts on the issue.

The backlash continued online, prompting the actress to delete the posts altogether and clarify what she meant on Twitter.

Last week Erykah Badu and Da Brat also found themselves under attack after they seemingly decided to still support Kelly and his music, despite Sony parting ways with the Grammy award winner since the docuseries aired. Kelly’s daughter spoke out about the decade’s long accusations, including the singer’s younger brother, revealing both he and Kelly were molested by their sister. Tank, Ne-Yo and Omarion made possibly one of the boldest statements, publicly condemning the 52-year-old, despite a 21% increase in Kelly’s streams, unfortunately proving it might actually be harder to mute him than one thinks.
