Kerry Washington may have hung up her white coat as Olivia Pope on Scandal, but her relationship with ABC is far from over. The 41-year-old is set to produce a comedy all about modern-day pastoring and blended families, inspired by the Sarah Jakes-Roberts and her husband Pastor Touré Roberts. Hamilton Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr. will portray Pastor Touré.
Sarah, most known as the daughter of Bishop T.D. Jakes, has followed her famous father’s footsteps in ministry, serving as the First Lady of both One Church LA and One Church Denver, alongside her husband.
The Roberts are also widely known online for their relatable messages of faith, their blended family and of course their incredible fashion sense.
