Andrea Kelly is breaking her silence on the abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of ex-husband R. Kelly.  She sat down with the ladies of The View this week detailing just how horrifying her relationship with the superstar singer was.

“I remember one time he attacked me in the back of a Hummer and I do suffer from PTSD because of it. Whenever Hummers I would see them on the road I would get nervous and couldn’t breathe. I thought I was going to die,” she said.

On how her youngest daughter gave her the strength to leave:

“…a light bulb went off…If you stay and she ends up with a man like him and you tell her to leave she’s going to say well why would I? You stayed with my dad all those years.”
