Since the announcements that some of our favorite classic films and television shows like Martin, Sister, Sister, Shaft, Superfly and Bad Boys were getting a modern day redo, other stars at the helm of these iconic series are pushing for the same. First the cast of The Parkers and now Marlon Wayans.

The 45-year-old comedian (can you believe the baby of the legendary family is almost 50?) and actor has been incredibly successful since the end of The Wayans Bros. in 1999, snagging roles in box office hits like White Chicks, the Scary Movie franchise and Little Man. He just released his Netflix special Wokeish and is gearing up for season two of his NBC show Marlon. But none of that is stopping the funny man from what he seems to really want, an apparent reboot of the hit sitcom starring older brother Shawn Wayans, John Witherspoon and Anna Maria Horsford. Marlon took to social media to see if the fans agreed.

This is one reboot that actually makes a ton of sense seeing as it’s one of the few casts where everyone is alive and seemingly doing well.

The sitcom aired from 1995 to 1999 and it followed the real life brothers on their quest for success and money.
