A Tribe Called Quest fans, you need these in your life!

Vans pays homage to one of the greatest groups of all time, the legendary A Tribe Called Quest. Together, they, alongside Sony Music’s merchandising company The Thread Shop, will launch a line of sneakers honoring their contribution to “style, art, music and authenticity.”

It’s been a good year for A Tribe Called Quest. Q-Tip became the Kennedy Center’s first Hip Hop artistic director. And now, they have their own sneaker collection.

The limited edition sneakers officially launch globally on April 6. But for those who can’t wait, you can get these exclusive sneakers early at the House of Vans pop-up shop in Brooklyn today and tomorrow. The pop-up shop will also feature live performances curated by A Tribe Called Quest (translation: they won’t be performing ?)

The collection features Vans classics – the Slip-On, UltraRange, Old Skool, Authentic, Sk8-Hi and Era – in a range of prints and colors reminiscent of everything we love about A Tribe Called Quuest. The designs reflect their previous album covers, like the 2016 album We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service, and one design, in particular, is dedicated to their 1990 hit “Bonita Applebum.”
