Danielle Herrington has just joined the likes of Tyra Banks and Beyoncé by becoming the third African American model to cover Sports Illustrated Swimsuit since it launched in 1964!

The magazine revealed its swimsuit edition cover Tuesday and surprised the young model with the cutest cover reveal ever! Check it out below!

So who is Danielle Herrington?

The 24-year-old first appeared in the magazine’s swimsuit issue last year, and she was photographed this year wearing a pink bikini at Harbour Island, Bahamas. SI Swimsuit editor MJ Day called Herrington a “natural brand ambassador,” as reported by USA Today. She is from Compton California, and according to her she had a “pretty normal” childhood.
