Most known for his roles in House of Cards and The Wire, actor Reg E. Cathey has died at 59. Reports say the Huntsville, Alabama native was battling lung cancer.
Everyone from Samuel L. Jackson, Mike Colter and Tony Goldwyn showed their love for the veteran actor on social media after learning of the news.

In 2015 Cathey won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his work on Cards, a nomination he received two times prior. He also starred in Outcast and The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.
