Four years ago nine-year-old Quvenzhané  Wallis received an Oscar nomination for her role in Beasts of the Southern Wild, this week the 14-year-old released two children’s books.

Published by Simon and Schuster, Shai & Emmie Star in Break an Egg is about two best friends at a performing arts school, while A Night Out with Mama is a picture book based on her time at the Oscars in 2013.

Wallis says she’s always be a fan of reading, “It’s something I would want everyone to do, especially teenagers my age. I don’t think we read as much as we should.”

The adorable teenager was most recently seen in Beyoncé‘s visual album Lemonade. She also hit the red carpet with the superstar at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.
