Janet Jackson shut down rumors that her show in Houston would be canceled this weekend. The 51-year-old took to social media to reassure fans that she was still coming to the city, despite the effects of Hurricane Harvey.
Jackson’s State of the World Tour heads to Houston on September 9 and then to Austin on September 10.
Since the country’s fourth largest city was brutally hit, celebrities like Kevin Hart challenged his celebrity friends and others to donate to the effected areas. To date his call to action has raised over $1M.
