There are rumblings that Halle Berry’s bitter custody fight with the father of her daughter, model Gabriel Aubry, has placed a strained on her relationship with fiance, actor Gabriel Martinez. In addition to that, apparently the city of Los Angeles is being an even bigger man for the actor who would rather live with the Academy Award-winning actress in Paris. I don’t know how true the rumor is obviously, but I am confident enough to say that La La land is not for everyone and can get on the wrong person’s last nerve.

“Olivier really does not like L.A.,” said a source long close to Berry. “He wants to just be in France — except when work takes him elsewhere. Halle wants to be with him full-time too, but this whole situation has made life difficult, and has begun to add a lot of pressure on them. … I get the sense things may not be going so well.”
That said, a second Berry buddy denies the possible splitsville chatter. “Yes, this whole custody thing has been a bitch, but I’m convinced it will actually make Halle and Olivier’s relationship stronger — not weaker.”
