Fashion Verzuz: SWV and Xscape’s Fashion Evolution

1. SWV – 1993
During their KMEL Summer Jam performance in California, the SWV ladies wore matching blue and white striped vests. Taj and Leelee opted to accessorize with blue and white bandanas respectively.
2. Xscape – 1995
In true ’90s fashion, Xscape attended the first annual Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards in matching oversized jumpsuits and platform white sneakers.
3. SWV – 1993
We can almost smell the hair salon products from here! The R&B trio rocked different ’90s hairstyles with coordinating white outfits with Leanne Lyons bringing a pop of color with her green, orange, and white striped tee.
4. Xscape – 1998
From baggy to form-fitting and matching to coordinated: Xscape swapped out their matching jumpsuits for matching side swept bangs.
5. SWV – 2018
SWV hit the stage with similar embroidered camouflage jumpsuits during the Pennsylvania Care Health Fest.
This era is clearly grown and sexy for the ladies of Xscape! Kandi Burruss and Tamika Scott wore coordinated mesh black outfits accentuating their features. While LaTocha Scott opted for a black form-fitted flare bottom ensemble with white piping details that compliment Tiny Harris’ all-white look.
7. SWV – 2018
Leanne Lyons, Tamara Johnson and Cheryl Gamble switched it up with their own style while attending the grand opening of “Salt-N-Pepa’s I Love the 90s – The Vegas Show.”

Xscape arrived at the 2017 VH1’s Hip Hop Honors dressed in all-white. While Kandi Burruss and Tiny Harris went for the fringe look, Tamika Scott and LaTocha Scott upped the anti with their exaggerated sleeves.
