“After very prayerful consideration, Tommicus and I have decided to get a divorce,” the Houston native wrote on Instagram. “It is my deepest desire for us to be loving co-parents and keep a peaceful environment out of respect for our children.”

The former Destiny’s Child member accompanied the statement with a family picture of Walker holding their 4-month-old son Tyson Wolf Walker and their 2-year-old Gianna Iman Walker. Walker has a 9-year-old daughter named Madison from a previous relationship who Luckett called “an answered prayer” adding “You made me a mommy-in-love before God blessed me to carry my own.”

The entrepreneur revealed that although it was a “very difficult decision” that they will “happily remain committed as caring friends with great love and respect for one another.”

Breakup rumors sparked in August following reports of Walker having an affair with an Instagram model while the 39-year-old was pregnant with their second child. In a since-deleted Instagram post, he wrote “The devil is busy and will not win. Please pray for my family and especially my wife while she’s pregnant. This too shall pass.”

Accompanying the 40-year-old’s Instagram post was an Instagram story where he stated that he was never unfaithful to his wife and that he never wanted a divorce.

After a few months of dating, the couple got married in a lavish ceremony in Austin, Texas in 2017. Tank sang At Last while she walked down the aisle wearing Vera Wang.

Both Luckett and Walker are asking for privacy as they navigate through their divorce.
