50 Cent is cementing his early legacy in television with another dramatic series, but this time over at ABC. For Life is the first project since the end of Power, from the 44-year-old that will follow the real-life story of “Isaac Wright Jr., is about prisoner Aaron Wallace, who becomes a lawyer, litigating cases for other [incarcerated people] while fighting to overturn his own life sentence for a crime he didn’t commit. His quest for freedom is driven by his desperate desire to get back to the family he loves—his estranged wife and daughter —and reclaim the life that was stolen from him.”

The film stars Nicholas Pinnock (Top Boy), Joy Bryant (Parenthood) and Tyla Harris (Coins For Christmas). Watch below.

For Life premieres on ABC February 11, 2020.
