Wanda Sykes and Mike Epps Are Returning To The Small Screen in ‘The Upshaws’

Netflix has ordered The Upshaws to series, starring Mike Epps and Wanda Sykes. According to Deadline, “the Upshaws centers on a working-class African American family in Indiana struggling to make it work and make it right without any blueprints.”

Both Sykes and Epps, who recently married television producer Kyra Robinson in June and will star in the Rudy Ray Moore biopic Dolemite Is My Name, are no strangers to the Netflix family, with a few comedy specials under their belt.
