Chaka Khan is making headlines… again as her former manager, Olasumbo Kuti, has filed a lawsuit stating the singer owes her over $200,000 dollars.

According to the filing, Kuti is claiming that the 10-time Grammy award winner owes her $236,600 for unpaid “business and personal management services.”

She also notes that she owns 5 percent of 3 businesses belonging to Khan including the fragrance line, Khana Sutra, that the ” I’m Every Woman” songstress announced on The Wendy Williams Show in 2012.

The now-fired manager worked with Khan for 4 years from 2013 to 2017.

We recently reported on the 66-year-old’s mouth dropping sit down with Andy Cohen, where she stated that she actually hated Kanye West’s “Through The Wire,” which sampled her vocals.

Headlines of this nature can sometimes point to financial troubles, however, with a reported net worth of $30 million, we don’t think this would be the case with the “Queen of Funk.”
