The fun was cut short for Apollo Nida this past week when he was arrested by US Marshals due to ‘technical requirements’. This comes only nine days after his release from prison after serving five years.

It is still unclear what a ‘technical requirement’ is or what the former TV star did that got him back in jail. This could range from a failed drug test, interacting with other felons, etc. However, there are speculations that this return to prison might be because of a now-deleted post his fiancé Sherien Almufti uploaded to social media after a visit to his Philidelphia halfway house.

Since the 40-year-old has been put back behind bars, Almufti has been his biggest advocate, claiming her man did nothing wrong.

The couple started seeing each other shortly after his divorce from Phaedra Parks in 2014. They got engaged soon after in 2016 while Nida was still incarcerated.

Almufti appeared on a 2018 episode of Say Yes To The Dress Atlanta where she confirmed the engagement rumors. Immediately after the news broke of his release, the lovers were spotted together heading into the halfway house where Nida was set to stay until October 2019.

Meanwhile, sitting pretty, Phaedra is doing well and completely unbothered by the recent news from her ex.

After being fired from The Real Housewives Of Atlanta back in 2017, the 45-year-old has been adjusting to life off-air.  She has launched a new adult business and we recently introduced you to her new bae, Tone Kapone, the Chicago based radio and TV personality. You can read more on that here.
