The long-awaited sequel to Space Jam starring LeBron James was confirmed last year and now the 90s classic film has cast its second lead. Sonequa Martin-Green (The Walking Dead, Star Trek: Discovery) will portray James’s wife in the Ryan Coogler producer film.

Slated to hit theaters July 16, 2021, this is one of three upcoming projects the Los Angeles Lakers star has up his sleeve. There’s the House Party remake and the Madam C.J. Walker series starring Octavia Spencer.
