The long-awaited Clark Sisters biopic finally has a cast! Less than a year after we announced the iconic gospel group would be bringing their lives to the small screen, thanks to Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott and Mary J. Blige, we’re officially meeting the women that will portray Karen Clark Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Jacky Clark-Chisholm, and Elbernita “Twinkie” Clark-Terrell.

Aunjanue Ellis will play the role of the sister’s mother, Mattie Moss Clark. The sisters are Christina Bell as Twinkie, Kierra Sheard as Karen (her real-life mother), Sheléa Frazier as Dorinda, Raven Goodwin as Denise and Angela Birchett as Jacky.

So the bigger question is, will they do the Sisters justice? With Donald Lawrence on board as the ladies vocal trainer, we know they’re in good hands. Don’t believe us, watch.
