Jordan Peele is behind yet another legendary project (last year he announced the Lorena Bobbitt docuseries), a remake of the 1992 horror classic Candyman. The Get Out and Atlanta star will reportedly portray Anthony, “a socially pronounced artist in Chicago who researches the urban legend of Candyman. After investigating the killer’s last known whereabouts, strange killings begin to occur.”

Most of us remember Candyman, who could be summoned by saying his name five times while facing a mirror, as one of the scarier horror films. Go back down memory lane with this Best Of clip.

Peele’s movie is set to release on June 12th, 2020.
