The folks over at Penguin Random House are breathing easy after the monster success of our forever first lady’s book Becoming smashed record-breaking numbers. Michelle Obama‘s book sold over 725,000 copies in one day, “in all formats and editions in the U.S. and Canada,” her publisher said. Additionally, “based on extraordinary account demand across all channels, from mass merchandisers to independent bookstores, the publisher has already gone back to press for an additional 800,000 hardcover copies, which will bring the total number of copies in print in the U.S. and Canada to 2.6 million.”

Over the last week, the former FLOTUS revealed she suffered a miscarriage and Malia and Sasha were the direct result of IVF treatments. Oprah and Tracee Ellis Ross have kicked off the tour as hosts in Chicago and Los Angeles, but it was this moment during the D.C. stop, hosted by Valerie Jarrett, that took the cake.
