Our forever first lady Michelle Obama sat down with Robin Roberts on 2020 last night and talked about a myriad of topics from the current Administration, her new book Becoming and not thinking her husband, Barack Obama would actually win the presidency.

But it was her shocking admission of suffering a miscarriage and going the route of IVF to help bring Malia and Sasha Obama into the world that left us stunned.

“I felt lost and alone and I feel like I failed because I didn’t know how common miscarriages were…because we don’t talk about them. The biological clock is real. Egg production is limited and I realized that. At 35 we had to do IVF.”
