Hip Hop legend Freeway has been incredibly vocal about his health, since his 2015 kidney failure. The rapper went in for a routine check-up and had to be rushed to the hospital to receive an emergency dialysis. As a result, the 40-year-old now has dialysis three times a week to remove excess water, solutes and toxins from the blood.
The RocNation emcee opens up about his health journey in a new documentary called Think Free, where he brings in his doctor to discuss kidney education and the Philly native’s current diagnosis.
