Sheryl Lee Ralph can’t help but sing a different tune now that it’s been 25 years since Sister Act 2 premiered. Especially since the then-16-year-old Lauryn Hillcatapulted into stardom selling over 19 million records worldwide on her debut album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, and winning six Grammys.
The two co-stars caught up at Kaya Fest over the weekend, where the 42-year-old closed out the show.
But it was this backstage moment between the pair in front of the singer’s 19-year-old daughter Selah Marley, that made us remember just how special their on-screen mother-daughter bond was after all these years.
