A day after BET’s The Quad announced it was ending its hit show after two seasons, the folks at OWN are making a similar move. The lovable Miss Robbie Montgomery and her son Tim Norman, Lady Jenae and Lil Charles will soon be out of a television job. The network has decided to end ‘Welcome To Sweetie Pie’s’ after five seasons.

The series followed the drama surrounding the family’s personal life including a restraining order Norman filed in 2017 against his ex, Jennifer Williams and the never-ending issues at the multiple locations of their iconic soul food restaurant.

Welcome To Sweetie Pie’s debuted on OWN in 2011 and according to Deadline was “OWN’s first breakout hit that helped the network find its identity and start catering more to African American audiences.”

In the Houston area? A new location opened in December that gives you the incredible soul food we love without the drama.
