According to TMZ, Columbus Short is heading to prison for violating his probation.

The 35-year-old actor pleaded guilty on domestic violence charges against his wife Aida Abramyan and since he was already on probation from a 2014 bar fight in Dallas, Texas, the ex-Scandal star will have to find solace in a life behind bars for one year.

Meanwhile, Abramyan is making attempts to shut down any rumors of her marriage with the actor, tweeting, “I love my hubby and will continue to support him.”

Details are fuzzy on when Columbus and his wife Aida have been married. In March 2016, the actor reportedly married Karrine Steffans.

Since his departure from Scandal in 2014, Columbus has starred in Definitely Divorcing, True To The Game and most recently Je’Caryous Johnson’s stage adaptation of Two Can Play That Game.
