Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan are set to bring the franchise back to the big screen! The fourth installment had reportedly been given a go for a while, but for Chan it was missing one component — the return of a now 46-year-old Tucker.

“We’re all like old men. I told Chris before we get old, please,” he said in a 2017 interview.

A few years ago the comedian reportedly left Hollywood in an effort to rededicate his life to Christ. A move that could possibly affect his future acting choices. But this week, Tucker confirmed he would indeed return to the iconic franchise in an interview with ESPN’s The Plug. “It’s happening. This is gonna be the Rush of all Rushes. Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don’t ever forget it.”

It’s been more than 10 years since the comedy duo took the world by a storm in Rush Hour 3 (fun fact: Rush Hour was the first of Chan’s film to cross the $100M mark). All three films have grossed a total of $849M worldwide.
