Gabrielle Union‘s untitled spinoff has added some heat to the cast!
As previously reported, the NBC-led series will follow Special Agent Burnett who was “last seen in Miami taking down a drug cartel, now is an LAPD detective and can pursue all the pleasures Los Angeles has to offer and leave her past behind. But things will get complicated when her new partner, Nancy McKenna, learns that Syd’s unapologetic lifestyle might be masking a greater personal secret.”

Ernie Hudson (The Hand That Rocks The Cradle, Ghostbusters) will reportedly play Joseph Burnett, Syd’s father.
The Bad Boys television adaption ordered its first pilot earlier this month. There’s no word on if Martin Lawrence or Will Smith will make a cameo in the series.
