Colin Kaepernick is on a mission to raise $1 million to donate to various charities and he has invited all his celebrity friends to join the cause! So far, Steph Curry, Serena Williams, T.I., Kevin Durant, Snoop Dogg, and Jesse Williams, have all donated and that’s not to say there haven’t been more.

Rapper Snoop Dogg recently dropped $10,000 into the Kaepernick’s pledge and said he would donate $15,000 more to the Mothers Against Police Brutality. With Kaepernick’s matched $10,000, the Mothers Against Police Brutality are set to receive a $35,000 donation! Kaepernick posted on Instagram thanking the rap legend.

“It’s no secret that Uncle @snoopdogg has transcended into global mega-stardom and even though he’s busier than ever, out brother still finds time to give back to the Community in so many ways. Like a true OG, Uncle Snoop didn’t even flinch when I reached out to him about being part of my #MillionDollarPledge,” expressed Kaepernick Instagram.

Check out the organizations some of the other celebrities donated to below.

This next brother I’ve admired for some time for all the work he’s been doing in the community and for the people. @iJesseWilliams is not only an actor, he’s an activist and I knew when I hit him up he was going to help me pick a great organization that’s making a real difference. Jesse nominated The Advancement Project for me to donate $10,000 to as part of my #MillionDollarPledge and without hesitation, he insisted on matching with his own $10,000! We’ll be donating a combined $20,000 to Advancement Project so that they can combine law, communications, policy, and technology to create workable solutions and achieve systemic change on issues of democracy, voting rights, and access to justice. Another great organization, doing great work! Thank you, Jesse for always being a positive role model and using your platform to uplift our communities! #MillionDollarPledge Visit kaepernick7.com to see how each organization will use the donation to fight for social justice.
