T.I. “Trouble Man Heavy Is The Head” Album Release Party

As he explained on his Behind The Music special, Ne-Yo was paying child support on a child that turned out not to be his. Still, he ultimately paid the woman $575,000 as a part of a settlement in 2009. However, since he mentioned this on VH1, the woman has partnered with lawyer Gloria Allred to sue Ne-Yo. According to her, she can’t work and had to apply for welfare.

Who blows half a million in three years, though?

Ugh, here’s the rest of the story courtesy of Necole Bitchie:

Allred claims that because Ne-Yo falsely painted Jesseca as a harlot who lied, broke his heart and then vanished … Jesseca has been defamed, ridiculed and harassed. According to the letter, Jesseca has been unable to work, was forced to file for state aid, suffers from mental anguish and is “beset by nausea, vomiting and hair loss” thanks to Ne-Yo’s remarks.  Jesseca is asking Ne-Yo to settle the matter amicably out of court (cough, cough $$$$) … otherwise she’ll be forced to pursue more serious legal options.
