A sequel has reportedly been ordered for the fantasy crime thriller, making it the first ever movie franchise for a streaming only film. Bright tells the story of a Los Angeles Police Department officer (Smith) partnered with an Orc deputy (Joel Edgerton) in a world of both human and mythical creatures. The premise: secure a powerful magic wand that will ultimately alter the future and their world as they know it.

Bright drops on Netflix, Friday, December 22.
