Alicia Keys says she is elated to be experiencing motherhood for the first time alongside fellow new mama Beyoncé.
Speaking with Capital FM, the singer-songwriter gushed about the time she spends with her son Egypt. "It’s amazing. It’s unbelievable," she admitted. "I just feel better in every possible way I can be and a joy I can’t even explain."
Egypt happens to have play dates with Blue Ivy Carter.
On getting her son to link with Beyoncé’s baby girl, Alicia said,
"We do. We have like our little play dates. But no, we’re friends and it’s amazing to be able to have children at the same time – it’s actually really cool. It just changes you, we talk a lot and it’s like what’s important has shifted."
