Finally! After years of fans unofficially campaigning for an Aaliyah collection, the folks at MAC heard the call. The cosmetics brand announced on Instagram early Thursday morning that the late R&B superstar would indeed be getting a make-up line in her honor.
The news come one day before the 16th anniversary of the singer’s death.
Earlier this week MAC also announced another collaboration, this time with rapper Nicki Minaj.
Taraji P. Henson‘s second collection with the brand will also be released soon. Check out photos from the campaign below.
It looks like MAC can’t get enough of #BlackGirlMagic and we don’t blame them! Aaliyah’s collection will be available Summer 2018.
