We’re most familiar with Brandy as the velvety-voiced alto and as a nostalgic sitcom and horror flick actress.

These days we get to see her make history using both her singing and acting chops in the Tony award-winning Broadway musical “Chicago.” According to People, Brandy and co-star Lana Gordon have been noted as the first Black co-leads in the musical production’s entire history (21 years). In the play Brandy stars as Roxie, while Lana stars as her rival, Velma.
