Last night, the biggest awards show in music was held and my reactions ranged from “Who in the hell is that?” to “Man, this is some old bull…”
But, there was some wins that were right on the mark albeit not awarded on screen. None the less, as much as people talk about how music is so bad God is ready to swoop down and make us all deaf, know that “Love On Top,” “Climax,” and “Adore” all received awards last night. Those are three of the strongest R&B songs to be released in years. Fans of the album “Black Radio” might always be smiling about that somewhat surprising honor of being named Best R&B album.
