It’s been a hell of a 24 hours for R. Kelly and his lawyer. After accusations surfaced that he was allegedly holding women hostage and running a sex cult, the 50-year-old R&B singer has since put out a statement denying all claims and one of his reported victims broke her silence exclusively to TMZ.

So what prompted 21-year-old Joycelyn Savage‘s sudden video message? Her parent’s press conference probably had something to do with it.
This all feels a bit strange and downright uncomfortable. However, we must remember that despite his past allegations, in this situation, legally the singer has done nothing wrong (now morally? Well that’s another story.) As we reported earlier, police in both Illinois and Georgia have performed welfare checks at Kelly’s homes and found nothing illegal.
