Add “published author” to Rickey Smiley‘s list of accomplishments!
The comedian/actor/radio host/TV star just landed a deal with Gallery Books (an imprint of Simon & Shuster) to publish “Stand By Your Truth: And Then Run for Your Life,” a collection of essays about everything from raising kids to education to social justice.
And while we haven’t had a chance to read the book yet, after three seasons (and counting) of Rickey’s hit show on our air, we think we have an idea of where he stands on at least ONE of those subjects — disciplining your kids.
After a BIG moment between he and Craig in season two, we sat down with Rickey to see how he REALLY felt about putting your hands on your grown-ass child.
