Clark Atlanta University (CAU) is a private, comprehensive coeducational institution. It was established when liberal-arts college Clark and graduate school Atlanta University merged in 1988. CAU is the largest school among the 39 United Negro College Fund (UNCF) colleges and universities. Through its four colleges, CAU offers degrees in several fields of study. Popular majors at CAU include Communication, Journalism, Business and Psychology. CAU is located in the Atlanta University Center with both Morehouse and Spelman College. Students from each school are able to mingle and participate in activities together. Clark Atlanta is devoted to academic excellence. It is CAU’s mission to prepare its students to excel in their chosen field and become productive and innovative leaders.

Transportation: The Atlanta University Shuttle (AUS) provides transportation to students through Atlanta University Center, to the West End, Vine City and Ashby Street MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) stations. MARTA monthly passes are $68.50 and can be purchased in Packard Hall.
