Perhaps our most woke musician working, John Legend is celebrating a birthday today. And though he’s still in his 30s, one of Legend’s best traits is his wiser-than-his-years stance on justice and race.
In addition to dropping a new album, Legend was everywhere commenting on politics in this most tumultuous year. And one such place was the 2016 Image Awards (see next year’s show February 11) when he dropped some serious knowledge.
