We’ve already been through this with Dwayne Carter, but here we go again.
When it comes to Black Lives Matter, let’s all decide to leave Lil Wayne out of it.
Everything was going fine in this ABC Nightline interview with Linsey Davis, until she made the mistake of asking him his stance on the particular movement. This could have been an opportunity to redeem himself from his last statement, but alas, it wasn’t.
“It just sounds weird…I don’t know that you put a name on it…”
“I am a young black rich mother——, if that doesn’t let you know that America understands that Black people matter these days then I don’t know what it is.”
He then goes on to talk about how he feels more connected to a red flag, boasting his gang affiliation before angrily ending the interview.
