What a tough week!
We’ve seen two Black men killed on camera by police (#ALTONSTERLING and #PHILANDOCASTILE) and now a developing story has a Black man as a suspect for the shooting of several Dallas cops.
Throughout the chaos, celebrities have been speaking up, using their voices and visibility in their own unique way.
Let’s take a look:
These Dallas shootings are horrific. Killing these officers is morally reprehensible and completely counterproductive to keeping us safe.

Being against cops killing is not equal to being for killing cops. We need peace in our streets.

Can we got a scholarship fund going 4 #AltonSterling‘s son/kids? Some of us feel helpless when these things happen, but that’s a small step.

Dallas cops who were murdered were brave. I mourn them just like I mourn black folk murdered by police. But civilians swear no oaths.
