Have you been following DJ Khaled on Snapchat? If so, you already know about all of the major success “keys” he’s been dropping lately.
During the 2016 BET Awards Khaled dropped “another one:” a world premiere video featuring Jay Z and Future entitled “I Got The Keys.”….We so didn’t see THAT coming:

After listening we wondered — is Jay Z dissing Drake in his first verse?
If you’ve been following the music of the “Light-Skin Keith Sweat” (his words, not ours), you know that on the track “Summer Sixteen” Drake boasts:
I used to wanna be on Roc-A-Fella
Then I turned into Jay
Now I got a house in LA
Now I got a bigger pool than Ye
On ” I Got The Keys” Jay Z casually says:
N***** always asking me the key
‘Til you own your own you can’t be free
‘Til you’re on your own you can’t be me
How we still slaves in 2016?
As we all know, Jay Z basically owns his own empire and although Drake has his own record label (OVO Sound), he is still signed to Lil’ Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment which is overseen by Baby…and we all heard about the complications over there. The two have worked together in the past and Drake has worked with Beyoncé, so maybe we’re just imagining things.
TELL US: Do you think Jay Z is firing back at Drake’s comments or do we need more proof?
