ABFF 2016 Passholders will have the opportunity to pitch their project to a TV One Programming Executive!
Filmmakers and content creators attending ABFF 2016 can sign up for a chance to meet with industry executives, pitch their project, and receive feedback. Projects can be various genres including made-for-TV movies and scripted television shows. You’ll have 10 minutes to pitch your project and 5 minutes to hear from a TV One Programming Executive. To be considered, you must sign up below.
What we’re looking for…
TV One regularly looks for programming ideas that will resonate with our African American audience. We want creative, entertaining and contemporary stories with a focus on the American black cultural experience with wide audience appeal.
Tips For Pitching
- Start by stating your genre and theme
- Keep the pitch concise
- But, be sure to describe the major plot points, the main character and any strong messages
