“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Karlie Redd is making headlines again—this time not for drama on screen, but for serious legal trouble off camera.

The reality TV personality, whose real name is Karlie Lewis, has been charged with felony burglary following allegations that she broke into the home of her estranged husband, Maurice “Mo” Fayne. According to court documents, the incident happened back in June 2023, but the details are just now coming to light.

Authorities say Karlie entered the residence in Cobb County, Georgia, without permission and took several items, including a set of keys and a garage door opener. Surveillance footage allegedly captured her at the property, and police claim that her car was spotted in the driveway during the time of the incident.

Karlie and Mo Fayne have had a rocky relationship over the years. They married quietly in 2020, but things quickly turned sour. Fayne, who also appeared on “Love & Hip Hop,” is currently serving a 17-year prison sentence for his involvement in a multimillion-dollar PPP loan fraud scheme. He was sentenced in 2021 after pleading guilty to bank fraud, wire fraud, and making false statements to a financial institution.

Despite being separated for years, the couple’s divorce has yet to be finalized. That ongoing tension could be part of what led to the alleged break-in. Sources say the two had disputes over personal belongings still at the house.

Karlie has not publicly commented on the charges, and it’s unclear how this case will impact her role on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” where she’s been a staple cast member since the show began. Her legal team also hasn’t released a statement.

The charge she’s facing is burglary in the first degree, which is a serious felony in Georgia. If convicted, Karlie could be looking at significant prison time.
