SUMMARY:
The TV One One Solution department is looking to build an internal strategic, creative and branded entertainment unit. This role is responsible for building the vision and structure along with consistently delivering strong creative concepts for the department and company. The Creative Director will interact with various TV One departments and Radio One divisions (TV, Interactive, Radio and Reach Media) by providing creative development and overseeing execution of integrated projects from concept to production.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build an award winning creative and unique team.
• Manage creative concepts.
• Respond to RFPs from brands and agencies.
• Develop the vision and structure for the creative team.
• Generate and articulate ideas to gain new business.
• Develop innovative solutions for our clients and the One Solution family.
• Create ways to tap into the collective One Solution brain.
• Understanding multiple ideas and how they fit into the broader brand and communication strategies.
• Execution of creative projects/concepts in a timely fashion.
• Develop winning presentation materials including PowerPoint/keynote presentations, mood boards, storyboards, and video reels.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Must be a demonstrated creative genius.
• Capable of pushing new ways for media and creativity to live together.
• Extensive knowledge and interest in digital, social media, content & technology.
• Must possess passion, positivity, diligence, and self-motivation.
• Ability to work in modular teams and as an individual.
• One Solution is an incredibly fast paced and creatively demanding environment that require creatives to balance many projects at once with tight deadlines and production schedules.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor of fine arts degree or related field.
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience spanning editorial, design, advertising agencies, film, events, digital and branded entertainment
