It’s here! Jamie Foxx is returning to the small screen in a new, hilarious — might we add — comedic sitcom, “Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!”

Foxx gave fans a tease of what we can expect from the comedy. “I cannot wait for you guys to check my new television show on Netflix, “Dad Stop embarrassing me,” nonstop laughs and characters galore… Like Calvin, who insisted on having a photoshoot… April 14, tap in! #swipeleft,” Foxx captioned under an Instagram post of one of his characters.

The series follows Brian Dixon (Jamie Foxx), a successful business owner and bachelor who just became a full-time father to his teenage daughter Sasha (Kyla-Drew). The single dad is forced to figure out fatherhood on the fly. The series is inspired by Foxx’s real-life relationship with his daughter, Corinne Foxx, who also serves as executive producer.

The series also reunites veteran comedian and Foxx’s former In Living Color co-star David Alan Grier, who plays Foxx’s dad. If you can remember their energy from In Living Color, let’s just say, be prepared for the laughs.
